How we look after family data
Every table in our database carries its own rules about who may read each row, and the database applies them to every request rather than trusting the website code. Families sign in with a one-time code rather than a password. Everything travels over an encrypted connection and is stored on encrypted disks. Photographs and recordings sit in private storage behind links that expire. Our team cannot read a private message unless someone in it reports the conversation. A foundation sees a family only after both have agreed, and then sees a name, an email and a city or state, never a memorial or a message. We do not sell data, we run no advertising, and we do not use family content to train AI.
